Hysteria Magazine Issue 3 - Freedom

Print, Editorial Design, Content Curation, Publishing, Creative Direction

This was a passion project I founded in 2012 to act as a platform to showcase local creatives all across Australia. Responsibilities included curation of interviews, articles and visual content, layout design and print production. Independent publication Hysteria believes in the thrilling pursuits that lead to discoveries of insightful and timeless editorial content. Contributors are handed the freedom to experiment, explore and interpret the theme from unique angles and mold avant-garde products that truly reflect their distinct artistic identities. This curation of different perspectives also encourages readers to challenge their way of thinking and inspire them to think beyond what meets the eye.

This issue focuses on a special form of spiritual freedom; in the soul and mind, otherwise known as imagination. And from this Hysteria was able to exploit ‘freedom’, with the result, a distinct interplay in this issue between surrealism and realism.
